is currently Professor at School of Management, SASTRA Deemed University in India. She completed her Ph.D. in Human Resource Management in 2000 from Bharathidasan University, India. Her current research interests are focussed around Behavioral Studies, including Personality, Psychological Capital, and Emotional Intelligence. In her role, she teaches various courses such as Human Resource Management Organizational Behaviour, and specialized courses like Strategic Human Resource Management, Training & Development, among others. She brings to her classes enriched knowledge of 5 years of Research & 25 years of academic experience.She has successfully guided 7 doctoral scholars and currently guiding
1 Ph.D scholar. Her publications include 115 research articles indexed in Scopus, which encompasses 30 articles indexed in Web of Science, along with 12 case studies and 10 book chapters. She has served on the Editorial Review Boards of several academic journals, including Business Theory and Practice, Journal of Management Social Science and Humanities, and Journal of Business Economics and Management.
Professor
is a distinguished Professor of Marketing, with over 40 years of experience in academia and industry. He has been an integral part of the SASTRA University community for more than 25 years. He has authored more than 50 research articles in esteemed, peer-reviewed, and SCOPUS-indexed national and international journals and also successfully guided research scholars. He is a recipient of the prestigious 'Best Professor in Marketing' award, conferred by ET Now (Economic Times Now) in recognition of his outstanding contributions to marketing education. As a marketing scholar, Dr. Renganathan's research and teaching interests converge on strategic marketing areas, including Services Marketing,
Consumer Behaviour, Branding, and Marketing Communication, with a focus on driving business growth and customer engagement.

School of Management, SASTRA Deemed University, has more than three decades of experience as educator, administrator. Formerly he served as Commercial Manager for 4 years in Agro Equipment manufacturing company taking care of branch operations in Chandigarh. He is also resource person for Data Analytics. He attended workshop in IIM Ahmadabad on ‘teaching with cases’. He connects his industry experiences for the benefit of his students. He holds a Ph.D from Bharathidasan University for his research work on entrepreneurial challenges in SME sector. His areas of interest include teaching and research in accounting, finance, entrepreneurship and Business Analytics. He handles courses on Finance and Accounting and Data Analytics. He believes in exposing
students to the real time data to analyze and understand the scenario. He was associating as faculty with reputed management educational institutes in Chennai. holds a doctorate in management (Ph. D) from Bharathidasan University, Trichy with post graduation in management (PGDM, Finance) from Institute for Financial Management and Research (IFMR, Chennai), Masters in Business Administration (MBA - HRM) from Madras University and graduation in Commerce (B. Com) from M.O P Vaishnav College (Chennai). Nigama has more than two decades of experience including academic, research, administration, industry, training and consulting. She is also a post graduate MA in Sanskrit from SASTRA Deemed University. Her industry experience spans for more than two years including TVS Finance and Services, Chennai. Her academic career is over two decades now, with 9 years of
experience at Bharathidasan Institute of Management (BIM, Trichy), four years at National Institute of Technology, (NIT) Trichy and since 2017, she is with SASTRA Deemed University. At SASTRA, she handles various subjects in the areas of Finance, Accounting, Strategy and Design Thinking. She is in charge of the Research Core Committee at SoM, member of Academic Core Committee, member of faculty recruitment and research scholars selection panel, member of NIDHI - EIR review panel, steers the CEO club with Coaching as its flagship activity, and also associates with TBI, SASTRA for various initiatives. Indian participants will need to pay Rs.2,99,000 + GST as programme fee. Participants residing outside India will be required to pay USD 5400 as programme fees.
The programme fee includes your application fee, tuition charges for all live and synchronous sessions, learning materials, case studies, class exercises, assessment charges as applicable as well as the boarding and lodging charges during the in-campus immersion.
While the campus immersion fee along with the boarding and lodging charges are included as a part of the programme fee, the actual travel related expense will need to be borne by you.
Yes, Veranda has tied up with a financial service providers. Should you require any assistance with financial loans, our Programme Advisor/Admission Manager will be happy to support you with the guidelines for the same. However, the decision to grant the loan will depend on the adequacy of documents submitted and will be at the sole discretion of the respective financing agency/bank. The loan itself will be based on a mutual agreement exclusively between you and the financing agency/bank and Veranda will have no role whatsoever in this financing arrangement between the two parties. In order to proceed with the loan, you will need to complete your online registration with Veranda, pay the Instalment 1 amount and share the necessary documents for validations.
Yes, if your credit or debit card has a payment through EMI option enables, you can choose an EMI option at the time of paying through your credit or debit card. We also have other financing options offered through other financial service providers that you may wish to consider. For more information, reach out to our Programme Advisor/ Admissions Manager.
If you choose to opt out of the course with more than 21 days remaining for course commencement, you may raise the request for the same with our Student Relationship Manager and you will be eligible to get an appropriate refund post deduction of a penalty amount of Rs.5900 if you are an Indian participant & USD 125 if you are a foreign participant. You will not be eligible for any refund if the refund request is received within 21 days or less from the course commencement date.
Veranda, in partnership with an Institute, where applicable, reserves the right to cancel courses at any time owing to reasons like insufficient enrolments, trainer indisposition, pandemic related or force majeure events. In the event that Veranda or the Institute cancels a scheduled course, the participant will receive full fee refund for the same. All refunds, in such cases, will be processed within 30 days from intimation of refund approvals by Veranda.
Valid requests for refund of fees on account of cancellation of enrolment by the participant shall be considered only if such requests are received at least 21 days prior to class start of the programme. On receipt of such valid requests for refund of fees, the down payment or fee paid shall be refunded after deducting a penalty of Rs.5000 for Indian participants & USD 125 for foreign participants. All refunds, in such cases, will be processed within 30 days of receipt of a valid refund request. In all other cases, no refund shall be made.
No, in the normal course, we do not encourage transfers to subsequent batches as it impacts your learning and career goals. Additionally, batches are monitored by the institute and are run as per their standards. However, in exceptional & compelling circumstances, you may raise your concern and transfer request with your Student Relationship Manager (SRM) who will present your case to the Institute for approval. You will be eligible to transfer to a subsequent batch if and only if the request is explicitly approved by the Institute(s). Do note that such batch transfer requests needs to be made at least 21 days prior to the commencement of the programme.
In the event that your transfer request to a subsequent batch is approved, any amount paid by you within the current financial year shall be considered as advance payment towards the next batch. However, you will be required to pay the following additional charges
